Trying To Conceive
Time to wrap that bump
Keeping your bump wrapped and warm this winter may prove hard to achieve if you’re seeking comfort and luxury.
Luckily, maternity guru Emily Evans, of the celebrity favourite boutique 9London, has inspired mums-to-be with a variety of snug statement coats and winter knits. The boutique, in Chelsea, is stocked and ready for this season.
Chic checkered capes, plush quilted puffas and alpaca style ponchos are being sought out, not only by expectant mums, but also by edgy fashionistas. The winter’s most sought out cover ups are also a great option for new mums getting back to their pre-baby figure. The designs versatility flatters all body types and is easy to adjust to the oscillating temperatures just by adding a few layers.
Celebrities from both sides of the pond have been spotted wearing these maternity-style trends. Jessica Simpson has been seen sporting cute capes during her pregnancy, while Lily Cooper had gone into 9 London's store to stock up on alpaca ponchos last month.
Here’s Emily's tips for what to wear in the winter...
"Choose designs which don't go beyond mid-thigh and or below the wrist. It's not a blanket.
Balance your look with 9London skinny jeans and accessorise with this season's popular floppy hat."
Left to right: Sieeni Coat £399, Alpaca poncho £250 and Sinidia Poncho £399.
