Hipp Organic launches new range of Omega 3 baby foods
Busy mums going through the weaning zone will love HiPP Organic’s new weaning pouches, which are already on the shelves in Sainsburys and Tesco.
Busy mums will love HiPP Organic’s new weaning pouches, which have hit shelves in Sainsburys and Tesco. It is not always convenient to cook so the pouches are the next best thing to preparing your baby’s meals. The new range includes Omega 3 in the form of organic rapeseed oil, which is a necessary fatty acid essential for neurological and brain development. We’ve got samples, which we’d like to put out for testing.
They’ve used the convenient re-sealable tops on their pouches, which means you can store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours which minimizes waste.
The new line of savoury flavours contains Omega 3, in two smooth baby purees (Çarrots, Cauliflower & Peas or Potatoes, Carrots and Beef); and with a lumpier consistency for toddlers (Çreamy Tomato and Leek Pasta or Scrummy Spaghetti Bolognese).
HiPP savoury pouches are available at Sainsbury’s and Tesco with more stockists planned throughout July and August 2012.

The 7+ spag bol sachet was great, loved by my 8 month old. The disadvantage of the product was it was too smooth, wasn't enough-was still hungry for more and stained the food bowl. The positive part of the product was it smelt nice, my son loved it, trusted product with organic ingredients, convenient packaging and easy to use.

We tried the 4+ pouches for my 5 month old son. They were an instant hit! They are a fantastic combination of simple, mild flavours which form a delicious puree which is ideal for the start of weaning. The ingredients are simple and taste good. They are an ideal size for the start of weaning where a baby only wants a small amount and can safely be stored and finished the next day without wasting any. Will most definitely be using these again.

My 11 month old son loved these. Tried the 7+ pouches and got to say, he scoffed the lot. Love the resealable pouches, served straight onto spoon and if any was left, resealed rather than gauging from the jar amount he might eat. Easy to heat up too. Liked that it was organic and had the added bonus of omega 3. Will be using these again for the times he's not eating what we're eating. Highly recommended.

My youngest baby who is 11 months old tried the 7 months+ pouches. He seemed to enjoy them and I found the packaging very convenient and easy. The texture is good for his age, quite chunky and not too smooth. The portions seemed quite generous, slightly bigger than other pouches he has had from different brands. It's good to know its organic and nutricious, but still really easy for days when you are in a rush or for taking with you when you are going out.
