Found both positive and negative aspects to this sling. Negatives, were it took a while to get the hang of putting my little boy in it, and needed assistance the first few times. And only really used it for first 3 or 4 months, after which I found it started to give me backache if I had him in it for too long. But on the positive side, I found it an absolute lifesaver when it came to breastfeeding. Was very anxious to get breastfeeding well established with my son, as had only lasted 6 weeks with my first child, and so was very nervous to go out and about with him because of the thought of feeding in public. However, the babasling really took the pressure off, as it was so easy to discreetly feed with it on and not feel at all selfconscious. Was even possible to feed while walking along the street, and no one would ever know. Only problem was people saying "aah, is the baby sleeping?", and trying to peer in to see him! Am still breastfeeding now at 6 months, and think a big part of that was those first couple of months feeding in the sling. Loved the design as well, and found that even on hot days (not that we had many!) neither my son, or me, got too hot in it. Would definitely recommend this, especially to anyone planning on breastfeeding.

Having borrowed a few baby carriers from friends I was keen to try out the babasling as it was completely different from the type I had tried previously. When I first received it, the instructions seemed fairly straight forward, but in practice it took a few goes with the assistance of my partner to make sure we got it right. Once we got it sussed we found it easy to use, and the little man seemed to enjoy it too. We took it on holiday with us and it made a nice change not having to take the pushchair everywhere, and also meant he could sleep while being carried. All in all a good choice, although my partner did comment that he would prefer a non patterned version :-)
