TinyTalk : Baby Signing & Toddler Talking classes All sessions are an hour long comprising half an hour of class time & half an hour of social time. Babies (newborn - 18m/2yrs): We focus on getting them to communicate through signing (based on BSL, British Sign Language) before they can talk ! the session includes lots of nursery rhymes & action songs, taught themed signs with supporting props & images, instruments, books and lots of fun. Did you realise that they can sign from as young as 4 months ! over 12 months before (on average) their vocal cords strengthen up for speech - amazing! Their recognition can be seen before then too, my son was reacting at 12 weeks and had only been to classes from 8 weeks. Toddlers (active 18m/2yrs - preschool): focuses on building their language & life skills by encouraging vocabulary, numeracy & team work through interactive songs & stories and play such as picture bingo & parachute games.
