This is a charming, award-winning children's bookshop with weekly storytelling sessions and regular events with children's author's during the holidays and half-terms. They sell books for all ages, from babies to teenagers. As well as the classics, such as Narnia and Beatrix Potter, they also sell books by modern authors such as JK Rowling and Philip Pullman. You can even take a seat on their sofa while you browse through their recommendations.

We love Tales on Moon Lane. They have author events and signings, do lots of stuff locally with schools and if you're stuck wanting to know what to inspire a reluctant reader they've got lots of suggestions. They also do amazing window displays - it's impossible not to want to go and have a look.
