This is a quintessential English bookshop with a fully comprehensive children's section. The range includes baby board and bath books, lots of picture books, classic nursery rhymes and fairytales (linked in with a DVD collection). Also large section for early readers and non-ficture reference and educational books. Events are arranged monthly in store, including; community talks with the fire brigade, illustrators coming in for craft events, Roald Dahl family days and Christmas activities. Really a great "day out" destination for young children. Open Mon-Sat 9am-6pm, Sun 11am-5pm.
