  I've used Valerie's services for my last 3 children after having several bad experiences with the local NHS... I found her to be incredibly helpful, caring and understanding. Her services are second to none and I can't recommend her highly enough. It was purely down to Valerie's guidance and encouragement that I was able to have my last two home water births and her support during my last pregnancy, which was a very difficult, complicated and painful experience was possibly the only thing that got my through. Even during my long stays in hospital and my complicated hospital induction and birth, her constant presence and reassuring manner always put me at ease and the care both my baby and I have received since coming home has been well above and beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected from their midwife. I would never chose to go through a pregnancy, labour, birth and post partum period without Valerie now.

  Valerie is an excellent midwife. She is kind, caring,very professional and always goes the extra mile. She supported me through my 3rd pregnancy and marathon labour and was wonderful, calm and patient as well as supporting me through the postnatal period. I highly recommend her.

  Valerie was my midwife for my first baby. Thanks to Valerie's support I felt confident enough to have a home birth - she taught me to trust in the natural process of giving birth and as a result I had a lovely home water birth and only positive memories of the whole experience. She is able to balance letting you take control of your own birth experience whilst offering professional advice and support at all times. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again and highly recommend her.
