  I looked at a few nurseries in Sheffield for my daughter but knew as soon as I walked in that this would be the nursery for us. My daughter started there at just 7 months old, so as you can imagine, it was a difficult time but Corner House really put me at my ease. We had visits before we started full-time, first I went with Matilda an stayed, building up to leaving her so she was used to nursery before she started. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They seem to genuinely care for the babies and I can honestly say my daughter has a very close attachment to the staff. They have a range of activities to participate in and play outside at every given opportunity. A daily diary is written in and you will never be short of pieces of artwork that your child has done! Another really strong positive is the food. Its all home-made and the staff were really flexible when my daughter first started as she was still early on in the weaning process. My daughter also has to attend a paediatrician appointment soon (she is very small) and staff have been great at keeping a food diary (all children have food intake written in their daily diary but they have done a bit more for me at my request) and written a report on her development for me to take to the appointment. I can honestly say my daughter has never cried on being left at nursery and she genuinely has a good time there and I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.
