Take a train through 18 miles of stunning "Heartbeat" countryside.  These trains will thrill children and adults will love the views of the North York Moors National Park. If you fancy a trip to the coast - then why not hop on the newly reinstated steam train to Whitby. Children under 5 years old travel free. There are Halloween events at the end October with costumes, colouring and crafts, and Santa Specials throughout December.

Please also be aware that if North Yorkshire Moors Railway hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
