This is quite unlike anything else we have found in the UK. Described as a curious treehouse adventure, you can take yourself around an area of oustanding beauty and experience childhood all over again. The website is fantastic and gives you a real flavour of the site and what to do when you arrive. "Simply fantastic" was one parent's review. February-October, 10am-5.30, and children under 92cm in height go free.

What a fantastic place and well worth the long drive. We went in a gang of 3 mums and 6 children yesterday and had a wonderful day. My 7 yr old son loved the jaw-droppingly steep slide, den-building, and tricky tunnels - they were 'awesome'! My 2 year old loved it all, especially the mini zip wires, broken bridge and the 3 man slide. The feeling of freedom and adventure was over-whelming. We had our picnic in one of the log circles near the bonfire although the children were almost too excited to eat. It is a magical place and made even nicer by the staff who are great with the children. We can't wait to go again in the Summer and stay much later this time and maybe try some of the food from the various cafes.

Just had a glorious visit to Berwilderwood with my two aged 9 and 12. Was a bit worried that it might be too young for them, but not a bit! They ran and explored the treehouses, the slides (one of which I couldn't manage myself), the tunnels and spent hours building a den. We made our own picnic but topped it up with some of Bewilderwood's delicious local sausages. We had thought that in February we might only spend about 2 hours - but actually this is a day's adventure with so much to see and do, it was only our own exhaustion that stopped us from doing more. We're definitely coming back in the summer - to explore some of the cycle paths around the Broads and hang-out in this magical place and create some new adventures.
