Charming and traditional seaside pier with places to eat (fish & chips to brasseries), gift shops and arcades (without those horried gambling machines). Open every day of the year except Christmas Day. Summer (May - Sept) open from 9am. Winter (Sept- May) open from 10am.

Southwold is a seaside town with class. Such a lovely change for a seaside town not to be filled to the max with plastic trash. We love walking along the front, mucking about on the beach and most of all we love the pier with its 'heath robinson' arcades. Oh, and not forgetting the cute beach huts and lighthouse and that they brew beer there - amazing!
