The castle is the historic home of the Earl of Devon. It lies in a beautiful setting in an ancient 4 000 acre deer park alongside the river Exe. For young visitors there is the children's play area, activity trails and the Victorian Kitchen. There is a shop and a tea room. The gardens are puchchair accessible. Open March-Nov, 10.30am-5pm.
