Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Victoria Place, Seacombe, Wallasey, Merseyside

At the Seacombe Ferry Terminal there are two attractions to visit, the Seacombe Aquarium and the Play Planet. Seacombe can be reached via the River Explorer Mersey Ferries from Pier Head, Liverpool and from Woodside on the Wirral, as well as by the usual routes. The aquarium allows children to explore the enchanting world inhabited under the River Mersey, study octopuses in the Octopus Garden, look at sharks in the Shark Nursery and spot a gigantic conger eel. Open daily from 10am to 6pm (except Christmas). Also at the Ferry Terminal is Play Planet, a themed soft play area for children aged 2-9 years. It covers three floors of fun with a huge ball pond, slides, asteroid belts and space pods u2013 with a separate area for toddlers. We strongly recommend you ring Seacombe Aquarium before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Seacombe Aquarium to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Seacombe Aquarium hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
