Graco, Citisport Plus

Graco, Citisport Plus review

RRP: £110.00
Weight: 5kg
Extras: Raincover, footmuff

The Graco Citisport Plus is another of the really light fold-flat buggies suitable from three months, with reclining backrest, hood, raincover, shopping basket, bumper bar, adjustable handle height, two optional drinks/accessories holders, removable washable padded seat covers and integral shoulder carry handle.

Most mums found the Citisport Plus good value for money considering so much is included in the price.

What the Media Says...

I bought this as a cheap back up for my rather large and heavy 3 wheeler which wouldn't get into our car! Now that my son is getting bigger I am using the Citisport all the time as it's much more easier to push around. I have been through a lot of buggies (bit of a pramaholic!) and although this is the cheapest I have bought it is by far the best as it's so light and easy to use and has a good size shopping basket.

As an urban buggy, this pram excels. Its neat, compact size and manoeuvrability mean that navigating narrow shopping aisles and pavements are a dream and it is lightweight to push or carry. In fact this buggy is the pram-equivalent of a Smart Car. The two front wheels can swivel or be locked into place for bumpier terrain, which implies that the buggy is an all-rounder but when we took it "off road" and followed some trails in our local park, the small wheels meant that my daughter had a bumpy, but not unbearable, ride. However, that didn't diminish my opinion of the buggy since it is marketed as a city vehicle.

As far as lightweight buggies go, The Graco Citisport Plus is most definitely a winner. The buggy is lightweight and yet it doesn't feel or handle like many other lightweight buggies. I find it very easy to get into the boot or just as convenient to use when travelling by bus. The pram is very easy to fold and doesn't take up much "boot space". The shopping basket is of a very reasonable size as well. The seating area is comfortable and the harness is easy to use. You can also adjust the handle height, which is another plus, in order to suit your height. I would definitely recommend this pram for the very reasonable price.

This was great value for money, providing many features included on buggies worth over £200 but still light weight enough to manoever and lift easily. Great for use in busy town centres, shopping, walks over more uneven ground etc, but still attractive to look at.
