Kindermusik is an award winning music and movement programme for children ages 0-7 years. With over 30 years of research in child development, the Kindermusik curricula are designed to be developmentally appropriate- exactly what your child needs right now to stimulate cognitive, emotional, physical, language, and of course musical development. Every fun-filled song, story, dance and instrument play-a-long is carefully chosen for a specific purpose in order to strengthen ‘vital neural wiring’. As your licensed educator, Ms. Becca Hopkins will let you know how each activity is contributing to overall growth and development. But, the learning does not stop with each weekly lesson. Because repetition is essential to the learning process, you are provided with wonderful books, CDs, and instruments to use at home- getting the whole family involved in the magic of music and making every day a ‘Kindermusik Day’. Weekly classes are divided by age and developmental stage: Village (Newborn – 18 Months)- Monday 10:30-11:15 Our Time (1 ½ - 3 years)- Saturday 3:30-4:15 Imagine That! (3 - 5 years)- Saturday 2:30-3:15 Young Child (5 - 7 years)- Saturday 1:15-2:15
