I came across an advert of Maria's whilst I was pregnant, I hadn't thought much about having my baby photographed before then and my other two children were photographed by the normal high street stores most parents end up taking their babies too. The next day I called Maria to book a session, Maria was warm and friendly and gave me all the info I needed. The day of the photoshoot we arrived for 9am, On meeting Maria I felt like I had known her for years as she immediately made us feel at home, we were told to make ourselves comfortable and then she worked her magic! You could just tell by the way she was with the baby she was a mummy herself, my daughter was at ease the whole time, this is something lots of other photographers lack she seems to "click" with the babies and the images you end up with really show that! We were there for a few hours and my partner ( who hates having his picture taken) joined in with the pictures too. Although you have a rough idea of what your photos might look like from looking on the website, nothing prepares you for actually seeing your proofs, when it's your precious bubba all curled up in cute positions looking all snuggled and edible its hard to decide which images you don't want! They are better than you can imagine! It also makes me wish Maria was taking photos when my other two were newborns. The images are priceless and something to treasure! We have since visited Maria again but this time with the other two children which are older and have had another fantastic experience,my daughter felt like a model for the day and my son who's not so picture confident loves the images of himself too, if you are looking for pictures of your baby or children that you really love and have a timeless look then Maria is your photographer, you won't be disappointed!
