This is currently a consultant led unit with neo-natal facilities on site, and has one of the highest home birth rates in the country. They have plans to develop a purpose-built birth centre for 2008/09 offering waterbirths, reflexology and aromatherapy as well as active birth classes, ante-natal yoga and baby massage services. The community midwives offer parents ante-natal care in the community as well as excellent breastfeeding and post-natal support.
