The Thames Ditton Miniature Railway in Thames Ditton, Surrey is operated by local volunteers and enthusiasts of model engineering. They are only open on certain days during the year - which are Easter Sunday and Monday, then the first Sunday of the month and every Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday until the first Sunday in October. Trains run from 2-5.30pm. Access to the field where the track is located is via a footbridge (ie you'll have to fold your buggy), but once there you can have a picnic or visit the station tea rooms. The Santa special will be on 9th December and there will be a buffet during this event.
