The Weald and Downland Museum is a collection of over 40 historic buildings dating from the late 13th Century.  It also includes a working farm with animals, period gardens, woodland walks and lakes. They also host children's birthday parties for children aged 5yrs+.  Open daily 1st March to 23rd December 10.30am-6pm (summer) and 10.30am-4pm (winter).  Check the website for special Christmas events. 

We strongly recommend you ring Weald & Downland Open Air Museum before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, www.wealddown.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Weald & Downland Open Air Museum hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
