Kew Bridge Steam Museum

Green Dragon Lane, Brentford, South Middlesex

Housed in a 19th century pumping station by Kew Bridge, this is the world's largest waterworks and London's only living steam museum. Original engine rooms and boiler houses. Engines run only at weekends - you can watch but you can't ride in them. Open daily.

We strongly recommend you ring Kew Bridge Steam Museum before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Kew Bridge Steam Museum, www.kbsm.org/railway, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Kew Bridge Steam Museum hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
