An enchanting 14th century medieval moated house surrounded by parkland for picnics and walking. This season introduces the new Outdoor Tracker Pack, and the family activity room in the courtyard with lots of things to do for all the family. Super Nursery Rhyme Trail through the wild flowers, and there are sculptures in the woods for children to find. Imaginative events throughout the year, including specific children's ones such as Easter trails, springtime Walk, Father's Day and card-making, Bat tour (using bat detectors) and meet Father Christmas. Tea Room with homemade cakes. Mostly pram/buggy friendly, but obviously heavy going in wet weather. Open from end of March-October, Wed-Sun, 12-5pm.
We strongly recommend you ring Brockhampton Estate before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Brockhampton Estate, www.nationaltrust.org.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Brockhampton Estate hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
