I can only echo the previous review. You might like to take a look at the Toy Library's website: http://lincolntoylibrary.zxq.net/

We visit the Toy Library at least once a week and both of my children love it (Boy aged 3, Girl aged 1). The staff are always friendly and everything is clean so you're quite happy to walk around in socks! Parents can pay a membership fee for the year, I think it is £6 and this entitles you to a discounted rate when staying to play as well as being able to hire toys. You pay per child per session but it entitles you to play for as long as you like. Quietest times to visit are after lunch but it's never crammed full even at the busiest times. Play Area: A wide open space with a ball pool and lots of soft areas. A couple of slides, a big play house, some ride ons, books, dolls, fancy dress clothes, building bricks - pretty much something for everyone! There is seating for adults and children are always in full view. There is a table with magazine and a kitchen to make tea/coffee/juice, surprisingly you can actually relax whilst being there. To one side of the main play area there is a large (secured) area for under ones with appropriate toys. When my daughter was younger it was nice to be able to leave her in there whilst playing with my son. Picnic Room: A special side room with child height tables and chairs (plus high chairs). We often take our lunch and spend the whole day there. There is a fridge and microwave in the kitchen which you can use, both are very clean. Picnic room is also lovely and clean with antibacterial spray and clothes to use. Most people respect the area and clean up after themselves. Toy Hire: A MASSIVE variety of toys for hire. Well worth a look to save some money! You can also buy cheap art and craft supplies Party Hire: The Toy Library play area is available to hire for birthday partys at a decent rate. You'd need to check with staff but they are very helpful. ***Go and give it a try, you have nothing to lose except a few hours out of the house!***
