(Mid-Hants Railway), Alresford, Hampshire

Steam trains running the 10 miles between Alton and Alresford.  The train takes  you on a gentle ride through the Hampshire Countryside and for when you get hungry you can visit the West Country Buffet. Special events throughout the year including Thomas the Tank Engine days throughout August, Peppa Pig visits in October and November. Enjoy the countryside and soak up the festive spirit at the railways Santa Special in December. 

We strongly recommend you ring Watercress Line before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Watercress Line to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket.
